Director
Terence Willey Sol. LC.
Terence Willey joined the legal profession in 1966 specialising in Property, Wills and Probate. He qualified as a Specialist Lawyer in 1986 and was granted a Licence to Practice in 1987 and appointed a Commissioner for Oaths.
He was appointed to the first shadow Council of Licensed Conveyancers in 1987 by the former Lord Chancellor Lord MacKay of Clashfern and thereafter nationally elected to serve a further nine consecutive years serving as the Council's Chairman of Education and Training and appointed as a standing member of the Discipline and Appeals Court committee.
Also appointed as Chairman of the Wills and Probate working committee in respect of this further specialisation and involved with the preparation of an Ombudsman Scheme for consideration by the Lord Chancellor's Department dealing with future proposed regulation of Probate practice.
He is a specialist Property and Probate Lawyer by qualification and a Consultant of the Practice.
He also writes law and travel articles for the local publication Island Life.

Mark Andrew Willey BA (Hons) Solicitor
Mark studied Criminology at Middlesex University and then completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of East Anglia. Mark Qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and worked for Edward Hayes Solicitors in their London, Fleet Street office.
Mark returned to the Island in 2008 and joined the family practice and now specialises in:
Powers of Attorney, Wills, Affairs of the Elderly, Probate, Property matters, Debt recovery, Money Laundering Officer
Mark is qualified further: STEPS - Advance Certificate in Will Preparation.

Anthony Freelove T.E.P.
Anthony joined the legal profession in 1994 from a Banking and Accountancy background and is very experienced in tax and accounting matters.
He is a Trust and Estate practitioner by qualification and is STEPS qualified. He specialises in Wills, Trusts and Probate and currently manages the Probate Department in the Ryde office.

Mark Buttery Assoc. Inst. L. Ex.
Mark has been a member of the legal profession for almost 40 years now and joined the Practice in 2016.
After an initial spell as a Litigator when Mark left school, Mark moved into and specialised in residential Conveyancing and now has over 30 years experience in all aspects of residential property matters.
Mark is an Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives and having been born and grown up on the Isle of Wight, his local knowledge and experience is invaluable. Mark is approachable and calm and you can be confident that your matter is being expertly dealt with on a personal level by him.

Debbie has been working within the Legal Profession for over 35 years and was one of the original staff members when the firm opened in 1992.

Vikki has been working within the legal profession for thirty years both as a conveyancing fee earner and in the Accounts Department of the Practice, she joined the Practice in 2006 and graduated as a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2005. Vikki is Legal Cashier, Practice Administration Manager and deputy Money Laundering Officer.
